The AIR JORDAN 2 was released in November 1986 in two HI-cut and two LOW-cut colors. The design was created by Peter Moore, who worked on the AIR JORDAN 1, Bruce Kilgore, who worked on the AIR FORCE 1, and Italian designer Giorgio Francis. This is the second and last Air Jordan to feature the WING logo, and the first Air Jordan to lose the swoosh. The original was manufactured in Italy using lizard leather and was released in limited sales at 30 stores in 19 cities for two months after its release.
